DOCUMENTARY WORK
Raised in a remote town in Alaska and formally educated in Philadelphia and New York City, in the fields of Design, Psychology, and Documentary Photography, I'm vivaciously tapped into the pulse of the culture, but you can always find a trace of wonder in my approach to any project..
I have the ability to deeply focus; researching, investigating, immersing myself in a new story - idea- brand is where I am most at home. My brain naturally defaults to lateral thinking. So, when I work on a project I am at my best using disruptive reasoning to find innovative solutions- constantly looking at the bigger picture - finding the gaps and filling in the missing pieces.
While I have been lucky enough to have worked for several medium-large scale businesses, I have been particularly humbled working with small, local artisan suppliers. Helping a small company scale - creating agent advertising to increase their customer engagement - is a truly inspiring experience to be a part of...

  ...and they deserve some acknowledgement, so I have chosen to focus my portfolio solely on featuring those brands... and to give some of them a shout out here...

I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to work with so many talented, knowledgeable and fun colleagues/clients throughout my career. I grow immensely with each new experience, and I still have so much to learn. I am constantly cultivating my curiosity, and I am always open to new stimulations!
